Weihnachtsfilmfestival – Queer Advent Special

Every Sunday in Advent, the International Festival of unconventional Christmas Films presents queer short and feature films that deal with the Christmas topic in many various ways. Sean Baker’s “Tangerine L.A.” is a wild trip down the sunny streets of Los Angeles on Christmas Eve. “Carol” by Todd Haynes tells a touching love story between two women in 1950s New York. The two short film programmes deal with the overarching themes of “Coming Home” and “Staying strong”. The varied short formats include comedies, dramas, animations, experimental films and documentaries.
