In outport Newfoundland, lives an enterprising family taking care of all type of business from wedding, funeral and ambulance services. This is the story of one such family – the Fury’s. It’s almost Christmas with matriarch, Mamie Lou, about to make a big life change. Her plans are derailed, however, by the arrival of a child who puts the chaos back in Christmas and sends everyone reeling. Meanwhile, there’s a wedding and a funeral to plan. What could possibly go wrong? Well, everything, as it turns out.
